Bonjour and hello! My name is Geneviève. I'm a mixed media artist that specializes in jewelry making. I work with almost all kinds of media like wood, metal, paper, acrylic, and resin. My favorite method is painting and drawing. I also like working with wire. I'm originally from Québec, but I have been living in North Carolina for fifteen years now. I'm from a big family of artists, with my mom and aunt being internationally renowned painters. I have two amazing daughters that are also very creative. Magalie, my youngest, works with digital art, and also enjoys drawing and painting; she is my business manager. Megane, my oldest, enjoys crocheting, drawing, and painting; she is also my creative assistant.

You may be wondering - why is my business called Be Joux? That's an excellent question. To pay my homage to my French Canadian heritage, I decided to put a creative spin on the French work "bijoux" which means jewelry in French. And of course, it doesn't hurt that it sounds like "Be You," right? And being yourself is the most important thing.

All my jewelry is made with intention, care, and a touch of personality. Whether you're looking for something bold, delicate, or simple, there is something here for everyone. My goal is to create pieces that spark joy, tell a story, and help you express who you truly are.
